Plot Plans
A plot plan is a small plan, usually 8.5” x 11” in size, that is created for residential lots prior to the home being built. The plot plan will be utilized by the builder, property owner, and local jurisdiction to ensure each home is being constructed according to the project’s requirements (i.e. setbacks, grading and drainage standards, utility service locations). The plan shows the lot boundaries, setbacks, proposed house, utility services, finished floor elevations, spot elevations of grading outside the house, and other required items relating to the lot and house.
