Constraints Map
A constraints map is similar to a Boundary and Topographic Survey or ALTA survey, but is typically used by Solar Array companies / developers in the site feasibility stage. The survey map will often show property boundaries, identify all plottable and non-plottable easements in the Title Report, topographic features on the project site, FEMA flood zone information, contours, utilities (water, sewer, storm drain, etc.), land use and zoning designations, etc. Research will be completed with the local jurisdiction to find recorded survey maps, as-built and/or record drawings, zoning information and development standards, site encumberances, and other client requested information.
